We would like to get more people involved in our food ministry. We need volunteers to take a meal to those who are shut-in, those recovering from surgery, or those who have lost loved ones. Someone else can deliver if you are unable to do that. We want to show our love to those in need by feeding them! A meal can be a tremendous blessing in these times, as well as having that short visit from someone from the church. PLEASE sign the list in the foyer if you would be willing to be called and indicate if you would be willing to do weekdays or weekends. Thanks in advance!!
We are planning a hayride to the SBY Camp on Sat., Oct. 26. Meet at the church at 5 p.m. if you want to ride the wagon. (Wagon ride is one-way. Wagon riders will need to ride back with someone to town.) If you want to go directly there, the fellowship will be from 5:30 – 7:30. The church will provide hot dogs, chips, drinks, smores, and hot cider. Bring a lawn chair and a snack or finger food to share. Please add your name to the sign- up sheet in the foyer so we can plan the food.
Trunk Or Treat
We will be holding Trunk Or Treat in the Outreach Center on October 31st from 5 – 8 p.m. Participants will have their own table to decorate and distribute treats from. Bring a soup or snack to share if you would like.
Rehearsals have begun at 5:15 on Sunday nights. Plan to stay for FROG from 6:00-7:30. This is open to kids age 4 through Grade 6. (If I have 7th grade King's Kids alumni, they are VERY WELCOME to continue with King's Kids this year, helping out with the little ones and singing. We could definitely use you in BOTH King's Kids and Living Witness Choir!) If you need further information, please contact Deanna at firstname.lastname@example.org or call or text her at 812-593-0666.
The potato bar raised $482 for the State Project helping Baptist Camps. Many thanks to everyone who donated food or money to help with this Mission Circle project.

The church mission is to provide regular opportunities for public worship, sustain the ordinances, doctrines and ethics set forth in the New Testament, maintain a meaningful relationship with God and fellow believers and minister unselfishly to people in the community and world in Jesus’ name.
1 John 3:17-18, NIV If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.
