Bible Study

We would also like to invite you to one of our Sunday School classes at 9:30 AM on Sunday mornings prior to morning worship. There are classes for ALL AGES! There are Bible studies for adults on Wednesday nights at Church and on FaceBook. See the calendar or call for more information!

We do understand that not everyone can make every week's service. Many have plans or are not feeling well enough to attend. We post the entire service online each week so you can listen to the praise and the Pastor's message from the safety and convenience of your home at your convenience.

We are a very busy fellowship of Christians. We have many different programs and events throughout the year that we would love you to be a part of. There are community service projects, mission outreach, and study and fellowship for all ages. Everyone is welcome to attend and participate.

At the Westport Baptist Church we are very proud of our Choir, Orchestra, Praise group and much more! We encourage everyone, both children and adults to participate and worship the Lord. If you play an instrument our Orchestra may be perfect for you. There rae many ways to worship...music is one of them!

Funeral Dinner Help
We are trying to rebuild our contact list of people who can prepare items for funeral dinners.  This is for anyone interested in making a side dish, salad or a dessert. There is a sign up sheet in the foyer. Please include your phone number and email address.  Also, please indicate if you prefer to be contacted by text or email.  If you aren’t able to provide food, donations can be made at any time to the hospitality committee to purchase needed items.

*Offering plates are located at the sanctuary entrances.  They will not be passed around.  Please continue to send your tithes and offerings to PO Box 310, Westport, IN 47283 if you are not attending in person.

**Out of respect for personal privacy, the media team will be diverting the camera from the altar so that people may feel comfortable in coming forward for prayer or dedication during the time of invitation.  These private moments will not be shared on social media.

We are trying to improve the process of keeping the prayer concerns up to date.  Current names will be removed after six weeks in the bulletin.  Please contact Dennis, Lucy or one of the deacons if you need someone added or removed from the list.

Please contact Lucy McCullough with information for the bulletin by Wednesday at Lucymac5820@gmail.com

To schedule an event in the Church Building or the Outreach Building contact Lucy McCullough at 812-591-3721 or Lucymac5820@gmail.com.  If you would like the ability to view the church/outreach center calendar, send a request via email.

All information for the church prayer list and the sign in the front lawn should be directed to: Mike Gasper at 812-614-4497 or Mike@bassgasper.com

Rev. Dennis Bickers may be reached via phone at 812-599-5599 or email: dbickers@roadrunner.com.

We have a special email set up for confidential prayer requests.  This is open to anyone in our church or community. The email address is prayer@westportbaptistchurch.org and will go directly to Pastor Dennis.   If you have any prayer concerns for the bulletin, please send these to Lucy at the email above.
